Pure Speed. Proven Performance.
The Cervlo S5 sets the benchmark for aerodynamic efficiency and all-out speed. A fixture at the front of the professional peloton, the S5 has powered iconic victories – from Wout van Aerts commanding Green Jersey win to Simon Yates riding into the maglia rosa. The latest generation of the S5 builds on that winning legacy, with refined aerodynamics, reduced weight, and unmatched ride quality.
Engineered for maximum performance, the new S5 is over 6 Watts faster than its predecessor and 124 grams lighter, all while preserving the responsive handling and stability that riders love. Much of this speed comes from a completely redesigned front end, where deeper fork legs and head tube profiles meet an all-new, integrated one-piece handlebar and stem system.
Aerodynamics That Win Races
Every detail of the new S5 is optimized for speed. At the front of the bike, deeper tube profiles cut through the wind with more efficiency. At the rear, the frame and wheel profiles work together to guide airflow seamlessly over the bike. The result: 6.3 Watts in aerodynamic gains compared to the previous S5 – and at least 5 Watts faster than the competition.
One-Piece Handlebar/Stem: HB19
The HB19 cockpit features Cervlos Plus-Four design, where the width at the hoods is 4cm narrower than the drops – helping riders maintain an aerodynamic position in the hoods while staying stable in the drops. All sizes are UCI-legal under the latest regulations.
Lighter, Despite a Bigger Presence
Even with increased surface area and deeper profiles, the new S5 comes in 124 grams lighter than before. Cervlo achieved this by optimizing carbon layup schedules and refining hardware across the frameset.
Reserve 57|64: Designed for the S5
Co-developed by Cervlo and Reserve, the all-new Reserve 57|64 wheelset was built specifically for the S5s aerodynamic system. The asymmetric rear rim profile is tailored to the shape of the seat tube, delivering smoother airflow and improved performance. The result is a wheelset thats 3 Watts faster than its predecessor, without adding a single gram.
A Fit That Performs
The S5s bar and stem system is not only a key component of its aerodynamic advantage – its also designed to fit you. With nine size combinations available, your Authorized Cervlo Retailer will help ensure you get the perfect bar and stem match at no additional cost.
