This snaffle has eggbutt cheeks and a slightly curved straight bar mouthpiece. The mullenmouth is generally gentler than the jointed mouthpiece, sitting across the bars and working almost totally on the corners. As this bit is totally metal it is obviously stronger than straight mouthpieces made of rubber or nathe. This type of bit can encourage leaning.
