Girling Norton Commando Floating Disc Brake UpgradeA floating stainless steel disc rotor on a lightweight black anodized alloy centre carrier. The disc rotor is mounted using 9 stainless steel riveted bobbins for increased longevity, whilst allowing the disc rotor to float in operation, giving smoother and vibration free braking.The Girling disc has been designed to achieve a considerable weight saving over stock cast iron rotors, with an approximate weight reduction of 500 grams. The drilling pattern of the holes and cooling slots have been specifically designed to allow the rotor to be mounted as a left or right hand front fitment and rear fitment (Commando 850MK3).NOTE IT MAY BE NECESSARY TO CHAMFER THE BOTTOM INSIDE EDGES OF THE CALIPER AND BRAKE PAD LIPS TO CLEAR THE DISC BOBBINS (see pictures).
