Fox FIT Damper Body Clamp

The correct tool for safely holding the damper body on all Fox FIT fork dampers, including FIT4, FIT RC2, and other fit dampers. Prevents damage during service.

Warning: Never clamp a Fox damper body directly in a vise without protection. This clamp prevents ovalization and ensures safe bleeding or compression assembly removal.

Always clean with isopropyl alcohol and wrap in paper towel (1 layer) before clamping, it increases friction and lets you use less clamping force.

Full usage guide: How to Clamp Large DiametersDo not replace the bladder unless it’s blown, it’s not that usefull. It tend to blow if you waited too much for service and your damper ingested too much lower leg oil.

What It Does

• Holds your FIT damper securely for removal, bleeding, or inspection
• Works on all FIT-style dampers from Fox, including FIT4, FIT RC2, and others
• Compatible with forks from Fox 32 (make sure its not step-cast), 34, 36, 38, and 40 (non-Step Cast)

Compatibility Notes

• Fits all FIT damper bodies (same outer diameter across most models)
• May not fit Step-Cast (SC) or ultralight FIT dampers,we suspect the outer body is slightly smaller and we did not find anyone who did one or have the chance to measure it.
• If you have a Step-Cast or FIT Terralogic fork (even more rare..), I think its around 25mm, so a bit bigger.
• These older Terralogic dampers require tons of cone wrenchs though, you might not be able to open it..
• This clamp does not work with GRIP dampers,use our GRIP Damper Body Clamp instead

Tech Note:
All FIT damper bodies (non-SC) share the same diameter. That includes FIT4, FIT RC2 (even for the older coil sprung FOX 40 with HBO), and even older models going back a decade.
