Trunnion Vise Holder Sacrificial 3/8 Sockets (Set of 4)

These sacrificial sockets let you use a 3/8 torque wrench with the Trunnion Vise Holder and the Shock Eyelet Torque Tool. Its the only way weve found to safely torque damper parts using plastic tools. Yes, theyll eventually wear out, but for the few times youll ever need to torque one of these things, theyre totally worth it.

If you’re replacing the damper tube on a Float X2 or a damper shaft on a DPX2 or Float X, this tool helps, but honestly, aluggage scale is often better. You can see how much torque you apply in real time and it’s even more precise than cheap torque wrenches.

Whats Included:

• Small Socket: Fits 9.359.45mm
• Medium Socket: Fits 9.459.55mm
• Large Socket: Fits 9.559.65mm
• Note: If your measurement is over 9.65 mm, contact us.

Specifications:

• Tolerance: 0.01mm for a tight fit
• Fits standard 3/8 torque wrench drives

Performance & Usage:

• Designed for up to 15Nm of torque continuously
• Will shear after 56 uses above 15Nm; expected failure at 1819Nm
• If you need more than 15Nm, use a luggage scale or the calculator below
  • You should honestly just always use a luggage scale, there is even a preset in our calculator.
• Not available in 1/4 drive, use a 1/4 to 3/8 adapter if needed
