Introducing the Rimpact CX, designed specifically for Cyclo-Cross racing. At a mere 55 grams, its less than half the weight of competing inserts. In the event of a flat, the CX allows you to continue riding without losing much time or risking the tyre unseating.

With the Rimpact CX, you can run lower pressures on clincher tyres to gain more traction and compete more evenly against tubular tyres, without the fear of blowouts.

This insert is specifically designed for UCI spec CX tyres (33c) but is compatible with rims with an inner diameter of 17mm to 25mm and tyre widths from 33c to 45c. Please note that fitting becomes increasingly difficult with narrower rims. The diameter is 700c. For those running 650b, we recommend checking out the Gravel/XC inserts.

While Hookless Rims are compatible, its important to note that running close to the minimum or maximum pressures recommended by the rim and tyre manufacturer increases the risk of blowouts, due to the nature of the hookless design. For more information, please contact Rimpact.

To ensure proper coverage, use about 25% more sealant than recommended on the bottle. The inserts are closed-cell and cannot absorb liquid, but some sealant will cling to the outside of the insert, requiring a slightly higher dosage. Sealant can be injected through Rimpact Valves or poured directly into the tyre.

Each insert weighs approximately 55g. Please follow the installation instructions on the Rimpact website website before fitting or removing the insert.
