Always depressurize air and damper circuits before disassembly. If your shock or fork is still pressurized, removing the eyelet, sealhead or opening the damper in general can cause injury or damage.
Designed for 14mm damper shafts, mostly used on modern coil shocks from boutique brands. Not compatible with air shocks, they never use big shafts like that.
Product photo shows the DHX2 3/8 clamp as an example. Actual 14mm version may differ in appearance and the diameter will look a lot bigger.
This clamp securely grips large-diameter damper shafts in your bench vise during service. Its perfect for safely holding the shaft during eyelet removal or mid valve disassembly. The bore is tight-fit and internally ribbed to prevent rotation under torque.
Tip: Shaft size may vary between brands or even generations. If the clamp feels too tight or loose, verify the shaft diameter with calipers before applying torque.

Match Your Torque: Use our luggage scale torque calculator to estimate safe torque on stubborn parts.
Reminder: Improper cleaning, oily shafts, or using the wrong clamp size will lead to slippage and clamp damage. If it doesnt fit easily, double-check your shaft diameter and ensure the clamp is fully seated.
