PROs Turnix Saddle is the middle saddle of their road offerings. Its a curved, neutral, almost traditional shape that works well for a majority of riders. As is PROs want, they offer the saddle with both carbon-fiber and stainless steel rails, both standard and AF (Anatomic Fit) versions, and a womens specific version.

The body flexibility that PRO thinks will work best with this seat is if youre standing up, and then lean over you can lightly or just barely touch your fingers to the ground. This is moderate flexibility. But this is just a general guideline; if you like curved saddles, youll like this.

If youve taken a look at the other PRO saddles, you know the basics well enough. The top is a smooth polyurethane with tiny dimples pressed through. This is a simple way to make the saddle a bit more grippy while still being smooth. The Turnix is a bit different than other offerings as the Standard version doesnt have a pressure relief channel down the middle. The difference between the Standard and AF is the channel cut out of the shell. EVA padding is used on all the versions, with a different padding profile for Mens and Womens saddles.

The saddle also comes in three widths, 132, 142, 152mm, which is the widest point of the saddle as measured from under the saddle. The Womens saddle comes in two, 142 and 152mm. If you want something that hews to a standard, then the 142mm width should be the default; it will work for most people. If you have a saddle and want a way to compare, measure your current saddle first to decide on widthmeasure the widest point from the bottom. If you keep on sliding forward, thats an indication your current saddle could be too wide, so youll want the narrower one. If you find yourself falling over the back, then you might want wider.

As is PROs preference, theres a generous distance between the rails and the saddle shell. This is for both comfort, harder for your legs to get pinched between the saddle and rails, and for ease of adjustment.

The Turnix, like many PRO saddles, has an integrated accessory mount in the back. It can work with PROs saddle accessories including: a fender, repair kit, and camera mount.

There are two rail options for the PRO Turnix, Carbon 7x9mm, and round 7x7mm Stainless Steel rails. As you can imagine with all these options, there are different weights. The 132mm Mens AF version with Carbon rails weighs 190g. The narrowest Womens version weighs 197g. The narrowest Mens with Stainless rails weighs 221g for men and 229g for Women.
